The auction will close in __ days and __ hours

Buyer's Premium:

A collection of woollen military berets comprising dark blue and khaki examples. The lot includes a black wool beret with a bronzed cap badge for Uppingham School Combined Cadet Force (CCF), featuring the walking tiger emblem of the Leicestershire Regiment above a title scroll. Also present are black berets featuring Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) cap badges, including the post-1947 horse and lightning bolt design in bi-metal and a version of the earlier pattern featuring four shields marked R, E, M, and E within a wreath. One dark blue beret retains a clear maker’s mark for the Luton Knitting Company Limited, dated 1954, accompanied by a War Department broad arrow and size marking of 6 7/8. The khaki examples represent more modern issues, retaining internal white labels with NATO stock numbers (NSN 8405-99-132-2260), contract codes, and printed instructions for shaping. All examples are constructed with leather or faux-leather sweatbands and typical woollen bodies.
