This British military leather shoulder holster with harness is an example of late 20th-century militaria. The holster body is constructed from reddish-brown leather and includes a retention strap with two brass-finished metal snap fasteners. The front of the holster is stamped with the maker’s name OXLEY above the number 80. The harness system comprises a contoured dark brown rough-out leather shoulder pad with distinctive cross-stitching, connected to an adjustable tan canvas webbing chest strap. This strap is fitted with a metal buckle and clip. This pattern of holster was standard issue for aircrews and vehicle personnel within the British armed forces.
