A trio of graduated glazed earthenware jugs manufactured by Keeling & Co. Ltd of Burslem, Staffordshire, England, produced under the trade name Losol Ware. The jugs feature a faceted octagonal form with scalloped rims and scroll handles. The largest jug is fitted with a hinged pewter lid featuring a white ceramic finial. The decoration comprises two distinct designs: the largest jug is in the Chartley pattern, featuring a Chinoiserie-style exotic bird perched on a flowering branch, while the two smaller jugs are in the Wilton pattern, decorated with large pink floral blossoms and blue foliage. All three pieces are finished with a dark blue glazed handle with gilt highlights and a blue transfer-printed diaper-patterned border to the interior rim. The bases are marked in blue transfer with the Losol Ware script mark, the pattern names CHARTLEY or WILTON, a crown symbol, and the manufacturer name KEELING & CO LTD BURSLEM ENGLAND. Various handwritten pattern and artist marks are also present, including 3716, 4108, and LD.
