An assortment of ceramic tableware and decorative items featuring late 19th-century transferware and contemporary dinner services. The collection includes a large Wedgwood and Co earthenware oval platter decorated in the light blue Asiatic Pheasants transfer pattern with floral borders; the reverse is printed with the pattern name and maker mark. Also present is a rectangular earthenware platter by S. Fielding and Co Ltd (Crown Devon) featuring an ornate floral and scroll border in dark blue; the reverse bears the F and Sons Ltd, Devon, Burslem mark. A contemporary part-dinner service in the Classic Fruit Sampler pattern comprises dinner plates, side plates, cereal bowls, teacups, a creamer, and a large serving bowl, featuring various fruit motifs on a cream ground with original labels attached. Further tableware includes a collection of plates and bowls decorated with polychrome game birds and gilt rims. Decorative items include a pair of porcelain pastoral figurines depicting a shepherd and shepherdess with animals, finished with polychrome enamels and gilt highlights, one base incised with the number 3883. The lot is completed by a graduated set of three cream-glazed jugs with yellow rose transfer prints and a small lidded pot with fruit transfers and gilt handles.
