This collection comprises three distinct services of English ceramic tableware from the mid-20th century. The first group is a Colclough bone china part service featuring a pink rosebud pattern. The decoration consists of transfer-printed scattered pink rosebuds and green foliage on a white ground, finished with scalloped rims and hand-applied gold gilding. The pieces include footed teacups, saucers, side plates, and larger plates. The bases bear the Colclough backstamp in pink script with bone china and Made in England markings. The second group is a Colclough bone china service in the Ivy pattern, number 8143. It features green ivy leaves on a winding brown vine with scalloped edges and gold gilded rims. This set includes teacups, saucers, tea plates, and dinner plates. The printed backstamps include the Colclough name, a crown symbol, and attribution to Ridgway Potteries Ltd. The third group is a Wedgwood Clement Garden pattern earthenware service. The design includes various fruit motifs such as lemons, cherries, and apples, complemented by solid green-glazed handles on the cups and green border bands. This service includes teacups, saucers, plates, an oval serving platter, and a cream jug. The pieces are marked with the Wedgwood and Barlaston Etruria backstamps.
