A small earthenware vase of squat bulbous form with a flared rim. The body is decorated in the Pomegranate pattern, featuring tube-lined and hand-painted fruit and berries in shades of red, yellow, and purple against a deep cobalt blue and mottled ground. The interior of the rim is finished with a dark mottled glaze. The base is impressed with the factory marks MADE IN ENGLAND and MOORCROFT, alongside an incised letter Z and a small impressed circle O.
