A small earthenware art pottery vase of bulbous globular form with a short flared neck and out-turned rim, produced for the Florian Ware range by James Macintyre and Co. The vase is decorated in the Dianthus pattern using the tubelining technique, featuring stylised floral motifs and scrolling foliage rendered in varying shades of translucent blue against a pale blue ground. 10cmH
