A small Moorcroft pottery vase decorated in the Cornflower pattern. This earthenware piece is of ovoid form featuring a short flared rim and a circular foot. The exterior is decorated with tube-lined floral motifs in shades of cobalt and mid-blue against a mottled powder blue ground. The underside of the base bears an impressed MOORCROFT mark and a partially obscured hand-painted signature in blue. A dealer label is adhered to the base identifying the pattern and dating the piece to circa 1925.
