Both volumes are bound in the publisher’s original green decorative cloth, featuring blind-stamped borders to the boards and gilt-lettered spines. The work is profusely illustrated with numerous engraved plates and in-text engravings depicting agricultural implements, livestock, and methods, including detailed illustrations of horse harnesses, harrows, harvest carts, and mechanical chaff-cutters.
