An Arcam Alpha 7 integrated stereo amplifier, manufactured in the United Kingdom by A&R Cambridge Ltd. The unit is finished in a matte black casing with gold-tone lettering. The front panel features a rotary source selector for Phono, Aux, CD, Tuner, and Video inputs, alongside a large central volume control. Additional rotary dials are provided for bass, treble, and balance adjustment. The fascia also includes push-button controls for tape monitoring, direct mode, SP2 speaker switching, and mains power, as well as a 6.35mm headphone output jack. The rear panel displays serial number AP7X05353 and provides a comprehensive array of RCA connections, including pre-amplifier outputs, tape record and play terminals, and four line-level inputs. A dedicated phono input is accompanied by a ground terminal. Two sets of speaker outputs are provided, labeled SP1 Direct and SP2 Switched. This 230V appliance is fitted with an integrated mains lead and is accompanied by several dual-channel RCA patch cables.
