A mid-to-late 20th-century oak fall-front bureau, designed in the Old Charm style. The upper section features a drop-down writing slope decorated with a carved guilloche border and fitted with a dark patinated metal teardrop pull handle. The interior opens on metal side-support stays to reveal a central shelf with two vertical dividers forming three pigeonholes, alongside an inset brown leatherette writing surface. The interior has been modified with the addition of a surface-mounted double-gang electrical power socket and associated wiring. The lower section consists of a two-door cupboard, the doors featuring matching carved guilloche friezes and fielded panels, fitted with further teardrop pull handles and dark patinated butterfly hinges. The entire piece is raised on a bracket-cut plinth base.
