An early 20th-century mahogany library or desk armchair constructed in the French Neoclassical style. The chair features a rectangular back with a central upholstered panel set within a mahogany frame, decorated with fluted borders and carved rosettes at the top corners. The open arms have padded armrests supported by short, turned, and fluted uprights. The square, stuff-over seat is upholstered in a sage green vinyl with matching padded arm caps. The chair is raised on tapered and fluted front legs with ring-turned capitals, terminating in block feet, and out-swept rear legs.
