A nineteenth-century mahogany chest of drawers, likely dating from the Late Georgian or Regency period. The piece features a traditional three short over three long graduated drawer configuration. The drawer fronts are finished with figured mahogany veneers and cockbeaded edges. Five of the drawers are fitted with turned wooden knobs, while the central top drawer features a single brass bail handle. All six drawers are equipped with inset brass escutcheons. The chest is supported by four original bracket feet.
