An industrial wooden workshop chest of drawers dating to the mid-20th century. The unit is constructed from softwood and features an eight-drawer configuration arranged in two vertical columns of four. The exterior is finished in a heavily distressed green paint. Each drawer is fitted with a pair of cast-metal cup handles, or bin pulls, showing significant oxidation and rust. The top-left drawer includes a lock mechanism, although the key is missing. Functional handwritten pencil assembly notations are visible on the top edges of several drawers, including TOP LEFT, 3RD LEFT, and 2ND RIGHT. The chest has been repurposed for workshop use with a heavy-duty wooden pallet currently secured to the top to provide a workbench surface. The original top surface beneath the pallet shows structural losses and damage.
