A vernacular side table or work table constructed from pine, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. The rectangular top is formed from two solid wood planks showing a heavily worn, dark-stained finish with a significant aged patina. The table features a single central drawer in the frieze, fitted with a small turned wooden knob handle. Below the drawer, the front apron is decoratively shaped. It is supported by four turned legs with square sections at the top and base, connected by low side stretchers. The base and legs retain a thick white painted finish.
