A vintage duster coat or dress-coat dating from the late 1960s to early 1970s, characteristic of the British boutique style of the period. The garment is constructed from a cotton-blend fabric featuring a dense ditsy floral print of rose-like flowers and foliage in shades of olive green, ochre, and pink on a pale lilac ground. The design includes a prominent, rounded Peter Pan style collar and wide, turned-back cuffs, both executed in a contrasting solid lavender-coloured fabric. It is designed with a straight-cut, knee-length silhouette and long sleeves. The interior is fully lined with a solid olive green synthetic fabric. The front is secured at the chest by five small, fabric-covered buttons in a matching lavender shade. No manufacturer or designer labels are present.
