An assortment of walking sticks and a riding whip crafted from various natural materials. The collection features several wooden and bamboo sticks with diverse handle styles. One example is finished in a warm reddish-brown stain with a continuous crook handle and a metal ferrule. Another light-coloured wooden stick features a hand-carved diamond or crosshatch pattern below an L-shaped handle. The group includes knob-handled sticks, including one with a large bulbous head in the style of a shillelagh and another with a rustic root-wood handle. Bamboo sticks are also present, including a larger diameter version with an integral crook and metal tip, and a slender rattan-style cane with a small crook handle. The riding whip is constructed with a braided tan and brown shaft and leather keepers at both ends. No manufacturer’s marks, hallmarks, or hidden system features were identified during inspection.
