This collection consists of several writing instruments presented in three individual cases. The first is a Sheaffer set comprising two ballpoint pens. One pen is constructed with a brushed silver-tone metal barrel and chrome-plated accents; its centre band is incised with SHEAFFER – USA and the clip features the brand’s White Dot hallmark. The second pen in this set has a dark wood-effect barrel with gold-tone accents and a novelty clip designed in the shape of a golf iron. These are housed in a black Sheaffer presentation case with a white cushioned interior. The second item is a Cross Classic Century ballpoint pen in polished chrome with a black conical top and a clip incised with the brand name. It is contained within a black and yellow Cross brand presentation box. The third item is an ornate ballpoint pen by Stephen James, featuring a gold-tone filigree scroll pattern over a black barrel and cap. The clip includes a black inlay with the maker’s name in cursive gold-tone script and a circled RD mark. This pen is presented in a black case with a clear acrylic lid and red lining.
