An assortment of mid-20th-century military and civil service equipment and insignia. The collection features a black rubberised canvas US Army Assault Gas Mask bag, clearly printed with US insignia and text reading ARMY ASSAULT GAS MASK. This pattern of waterproof carrier was issued during WWII, notably for amphibious operations.

The lot includes a British service gas mask housed in a cylindrical ribbed metal storage canister with a canvas shoulder strap. Paper goods consist of a softcover booklet titled ARMY AIR FORCES RADIO FACILITY CHARTS, dated 30 January 1947, and bearing technical order number 08-15-1.

Civilian and service armbands include a yellow fabric British Civil Defence Corps brassard embroidered with RESCUE and a royal crown; a black fabric armband with white embroidered DI lettering; and a red fabric armband with yellow MOV lettering. Associated insignia comprises a gold bullion EIIR royal cypher on black felt, two black felt square patches with red embroidered pioneer trade badges (crossed rifles and axes), a British police rank epaulette slide for a Superintendent, and a small tan fabric cypher strip.

The collection is completed by a pair of black metal prismatic binoculars and several white canvas items, possibly protective covers, featuring reinforcement stitching.
