A five-piece electroplated nickel silver tea and coffee service presented on a matching circular tray. The set is crafted in an ornate Victorian revival style and comprises a tall coffee pot, a teapot, a two-handled open sugar bowl, and a cream jug. Each piece features heavily engraved foliate and floral motifs on the body and is supported by four cast scrolled feet. The coffee and tea pots are fitted with black composite finials and scrolled handles with thumbpieces. The coordinating circular tray has a beaded rim and a flat surface engraved with matching floral scrolls and a central medallion. The base of the pieces is marked with E.P.N.S. and a downward-pointing triangular maker mark with internal characters resembling a V over an L.
