An assortment of British Army cloth shoulder titles and unit patches, primarily dating from the mid-20th century. The collection features various embroidered insignia for infantry regiments and specialist units. Represented units include the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry (CORNWALL), the Gloucestershire Regiment (short GLOSTER and full GLOUCESTERSHIRE titles), and the Wiltshire Regiment. Specialist insignia includes Motor Machine Guns, Machine Gun Guards, Corps of Military Police (CMP), and the Army Kinema Corporation (AKC). The collection also contains several patches for the Royal Armoured Corps (RAC) and multiple examples from the Army Film and Photographic Unit (AFPU), which display the red AFPU abbreviation and a white camera tripod symbol on a black ground. The patches are made from embroidered thread on felt or cloth backings. The entire lot is housed in a green plastic-covered ring binder with clear multi-pocket sleeves.
