An extensive assortment of British and Commonwealth military decorations and related militaria, primarily spanning the First and Second World Wars. The collection features a significant group of Second World War campaign stars, including multiple examples of the 1939-1945 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Italy Star, and the Burma Star, each bearing the GRI VI monogram topped with a crown. Accompanying these are several Defence Medals (1939-1945) and War Medals (1939-1945) with their respective ribbons. First World War decorations include the British War Medal featuring the bust of King George V and the Inter-Allied Victory Medal depicting a winged figure of Victory. Specialist awards include a Medico-Psychological Association medal for Proficiency in Mental Nursing, designed as a bronze-coloured cross and housed in its original Stratton presentation box. Also present is a gilded metal badge featuring a crown, wreath, and shield with three lions passant, and an embroidered blazer badge on blue felt depicting a winged hand holding a flaming torch. A 1953 Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Medal is also included within the group. The lot is completed by several multi-medal ribbon bars for uniform wear and a small group of miniature unribboned stars.
