A varied collection of British military and civil service equipment spanning from the Second World War to modern issue. The lot includes a British Mk II steel helmet finished in grey paint with the hand-painted letters F.G. to the front, likely indicating a Fire Guard role; the interior features a leather liner stamped with the maker’s mark JRS, dated 1941, and size 6 3/4. Headwear comprises a maroon wool Parachute Regiment beret with an embroidered regiment badge and a dark green wool Guards Division beret, the internal label showing a manufacture date of March 2016, NSN 8405-99-132-2255, and size 55. A steel ammunition transit box is marked for 7.62mm ball L2A2 rounds, dated RG 1965, and bears a N.R.A. Bisley label. The lot also features a yellow cloth Civil Defence Corps Welfare armband with embroidered insignia, a concentric-ring pattern aluminium water bottle with a canvas shoulder strap, and a cylindrical metal equipment container in olive drab paint. Also included is a group of service cutlery, notably a fork stamped with the broad arrow and dated 1952, and a Sheffield stainless steel spoon with a broad arrow mark.
