Buyer's Premium:

A trio of British military commemorative and souvenir items representing various branches and regiments. The first item is a framed bullion wire embroidered cap badge for the Army Air Corps. The insignia features a central eagle with outspread wings within a laurel wreath, surmounted by a Tudor crown. It is professionally mounted in a silver-toned frame with a triple-layered mat and includes a label reading British Military Army Air Corps. The second item is a white silk or satin souvenir textile, likely a handkerchief or cushion cover, edged with white floral lace. The surface is decorated with twenty-five applied regimental silk patches. These patches are attributed to the series of cigarette premiums issued by makers such as BDV or Kensitas during the early 20th century. Units represented include the 17th Lancers, Royal Engineers, Grenadier Guards, 2nd King Edward’s Own Gurkha Rifles, and various other line infantry and cavalry regiments. The third item is a large white embroidered cloth featuring a central Royal Engineers badge. The embroidery includes a Tudor crown above the GR Royal Cypher, enclosed within a Garter bearing the motto Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense, flanked by laurel sprigs and a base scroll reading Royal Engineers.
