A vintage Seiko automatic wristwatch, reference 6309-8020. The timepiece features a tonneau-shaped stainless steel case and a black dial. The dial is set with applied baton hour markers, a day-date aperture at the 3 o’clock position, and is signed with the Seiko logo, Automatic, 17 Jewels, and the Suwa Seikosha logo. Along the bottom edge of the dial are the characters JAPAN 6309-813L T. The watch is powered by a calibre 6309 automatic movement. The stainless steel case back is engraved with the manufacturer’s name, serial number 843726, the movement-case reference 6309-8020, and the Suwa Seikosha symbol. Based on the serial number, the production date is attributed to April 1978. The watch is fitted with its original Seiko stainless steel link bracelet, featuring a signed fold-over clasp and end links stamped Z152. No box or papers are included with this lot.
