An English mechanical wall clock of drop-dial form, featuring a wooden case with an octagonal dial surround and a rectangular pendulum box. The box contains a glazed window decorated with an etched or transfer-printed scrollwork motif. The cream-coloured dial is set with black Roman numeral hour markers, a railroad-style outer minute track, and black spade-shaped hands. A single winding aperture is positioned centrally, and the dial is marked Manufactured in England along the left-hand margin near the IX numeral. Included with the lot is a vintage metal tool, identified as a Meccano rail gauge, inscribed with Gauge for Rails, Meccano Ltd England, D.R.G.M. 1172763, and Pat No 153975.
