An assortment of vintage brewery and distillery promotional items. The collection features a group of seven miniature white ceramic advertising tankards from the Official Tankards of the World’s Great Breweries series, produced by Franklin Porcelain circa 1980-1981. These include examples for Brauerei Gosser (Austria), Leopard Lager (New Zealand), Dreher Birra (Italy), Carta Blanca (Mexico), Genesee Beer (USA), Brahma Beer (Brazil), and Aguila (Spain). Each tankard features a transfer-printed brewery logo and coloured banding to the rim.
The lot also includes a tall cream-coloured ceramic decanter for Supreme Master Scotch Whisky, featuring relief-moulded decoration of an eagle and figures to the base. The front is printed with Aged 21 Years, Supreme MASTER Scotch Whisky, and Distilled and Bottled in Scotland by R. Carmichael and Sons Ltd.
Additional items comprise a Whyte and Mackay Special Scotch Whisky advertising water jug of square form with a vertical red stripe and lion logo; a bell-shaped ceramic decanter with a graduated brown-to-cream glaze and gold-tone banding; and a free-standing Heineken Lager Beer counter display with a circular logo set within a chrome-finished metal frame.
