A collection of Portmeirion earthenware designed by Susan Williams-Ellis, featuring pieces from the Botanic Garden and Strawberry Fair ranges. Each piece is decorated with characteristic transfer-printed botanical and ornithological motifs on a white glazed ground.
The collection includes a large circular serving bowl from the Strawberry Fair range, featuring a central motif of The Elvanta Strawberry and a green leaf-garland border.
Two cylindrical storage canisters of graduated sizes are present, each with a turned wooden lid. The larger canister is decorated with a Rose-Coloured Starling (Pastor roseus) and floral elements, while the smaller canister depicts floral motifs and a Red Admiral butterfly.
The group is completed by a small circular sweet dish in the Cyclamen repandum pattern, which includes depictions of cyclamen flowers, a ladybird, and a moth. This item is housed in its original green Portmeirion cardboard packaging.
