A Moorcroft pottery vase decorated in the Anemone pattern, featuring a bulbous body and a short, flared neck. The exterior is adorned with tube-lined and hand-painted anemone blooms in shades of pink, red, and purple with yellow-tinged leaves. This floral design is set against a mottled ground that transitions from a deep cobalt blue at the base to a washed green around the shoulder and neck. The interior of the neck is finished in a deep cobalt blue glaze. The base of the vase bears an impressed MADE IN ENGLAND mark and a blue printed royal warrant mark stating POTTER TO HM THE QUEEN. It also carries a hand-painted signature in blue script for William Moorcroft and the numeral 5.
