This ceramic bulbous vase is decorated in the Moorcroft Leaf and Berry pattern, featuring tube-lined fruit and foliage in vibrant shades of red, yellow, and green. The Moorecroft vessel is finished in a rich flambé glaze of graduated warm brown and deep red tones, with a dark-glazed interior. The underside displays a blue stamped Moorcroft mark, an impressed Made in England stamp, and a small hand-painted blue decorator monogram. An old paper label on the base identifies the item as Moorcroft Flambé with a suggested date of circa 1950.
