This lot consists of a collection of large-format art history books and artist monographs, primarily hardcover volumes, many of which retain their original pictorial dust jackets. The collection includes the following titles: Pageant and Panorama: The Elegant World of Canaletto by Homan Potterton; Valentin Serov published by Aurora Art Publishers; Essential Monet by Vanessa Potts; Masterworks: Impressionists by Douglas Mannering; and Botticelli from The Colour Library of Art series. Also included are monographs on the works of Kandinsky, Paul Klee, and Henri Matisse, alongside a substantial volume titled Western European Painting in the Hermitage: 19th-20th Centuries and Painting as Picture by Ronald Alley. The volumes are generally quarto or folio in size and are profusely illustrated with plates in both monochrome and full colour. The publishers represented include Aurora Art Publishers, Phaidon, and Regency House.
