This lot consists of a collection of large-format art history books and artist monographs, primarily hardcover volumes, many of which retain their original pictorial dust jackets. The collection includes the following titles: Pageant and Panorama: The Elegant World of Canaletto by Homan Potterton; Valentin Serov published by Aurora Art Publishers; Essential Monet by Vanessa Potts; Masterworks: Impressionists by Douglas Mannering; and Botticelli from The Colour Library of Art series. Also included are monographs on the works of Kandinsky, Paul Klee, and Henri Matisse, alongside a substantial volume titled Western European Painting in the Hermitage: 19th-20th Centuries and Painting as Picture by Ronald Alley. The volumes are generally quarto or folio in size and are profusely illustrated with plates in both monochrome and full colour.
