A workshop bench vice manufactured by Record in the United Kingdom. The tool is constructed from a heavy cast iron body finished in the manufacturer’s characteristic blue enamel. It features replaceable steel jaw faces, a steel handle with ball ends, and a large central screw mechanism. The static body section displays raised cast characters reading Nº 3, and the sliding jaw section features the name RECORD within a raised rectangular frame. The rear portion of the main body incorporates an integrated flat anvil surface. A single threaded mounting bolt is currently located in one of the base fixing holes.
