A large contemporary garden planter produced by Heritage Garden Pottery. The vessel is of tapered cylindrical form, featuring a heavy rounded rim and a single raised horizontal rib encircling the upper section of the body. The exterior is finished in a pale sage green glaze. Applied to the side is a circular relief medallion containing the manufacturer’s mark. The interior is finished with a matte terracotta-coloured slip and contains a single central drainage hole.
Markings: The relief seal is inscribed HERITAGE GARDEN along the top arc and POTTERY along the bottom arc, flanking a central motif of a stylised tree.
