The machine features a black-enamelled cast-iron body decorated with ornate gold-toned foliate and geometric decals, including a Greek key pattern. The name SINGER is visible in gold-toned lettering along the arm. The unit is mounted on a rectangular wooden base and is accompanied by a matching fitted dome-top wooden carrying case lid. It is equipped with a large spoked hand wheel and two vertical spool pins.
