The lot includes two hardcover volumes with dust jackets: Richard Holmes, The Second World War in Photographs, published by the Imperial War Museum; and Theo Boiten and Martin Bowman, Battles with the Luftwaffe: The Bomber Campaign Against Germany 1942-45, published by Janes. Also present is The Victory in Europe Experience boxed set from the Imperial War Museum, which contains facsimile documents and memorabilia. The group features multiple issues of The Sphere magazine, including editions dated 25 November 1939, 20 May 1944, and 23 November 1946. Additional publications comprise a folio-size softcover titled Modern Combat Aircraft published by St Michael; a pamphlet titled Aeroplanes and Aero-Engines reprinted from The Aeroplane and published by Temple Press Limited; and Gary Sterne and Irene Moore, The International Militaria Collector’s Guide. Included is a commemorative display folder titled The Great British Regiments, featuring a mounted set of various regimental cap badges with a printed foreword by Lt-Gen Sir Brian Horrocks.
