A Sharp RT-3151E stereo cassette deck, marketed as an electronic tape processor, manufactured by Sharp Corporation in Japan. The unit features a brushed silver-tone aluminium front panel and a black textured metal casing. The front panel is equipped with twin analogue VU meters for monitoring signal levels, alongside a small digital LCD window for clock and tape counter functions. Standard piano-key style transport controls are situated at the lower left, including buttons for editor, pause, record, rewind, play, fast forward, stop, and eject. To the right of the display, a numeric keypad facilitates the Auto Program Locate Device (APLD) system. Additional controls include four toggle switches for Dolby NR, bias, and equaliser settings, plus three large rotary knobs for mic/DIN input, line input, and output levels. A secondary battery compartment for the internal clock is located at the rear.
