A pair of semi-circular wall sconces constructed using the copper foil technique with panels of opalescent and variegated stained glass. The decorative scheme depicts a bird with blue, yellow, and white plumage perched on a dark branch, surrounded by pink five-petaled flowers and yellow roses set against a pale blue marbled background. The shades are mounted on black-finished metal backplates designed for flush wall mounting. Each fixture is fitted with a single bayonet-style bulb socket. Silver-tone adhesive labels on the reverse indicate modern commercial manufacture to UK electrical standards, including specifications for Max 40W, AC 240V ~ 50Hz, and a CE mark.
