A mid-Victorian card table featuring walnut and burr walnut veneers. The table is designed with a rectangular swivel-action top with rounded corners, opening to a circular interior surface lined with red baize. Beneath the top, the frieze is decorated with a pierced and carved scrolling apron. The structure is supported by a large faceted bulbous central pedestal resting on a circular platform base. The base is finished with four leaf-carved scrolling feet. No maker stamps or labels are visible.
