An oak side or occasional table constructed in the 17th-century Jacobean joint stool style. The piece features a rectangular solid oak top composed of two planks with a moulded edge and a dark-stained border detail. The top is supported by four turned baluster legs with rectangular block sections, joined by a low-level perimeter stretcher. There are no visible maker’s marks, labels, or stamps.
