A mid-20th-century wall-mounted cupboard or hanging sideboard in the Jacobean revival style, constructed from oak with a dark stained finish. The piece is designed with a flat top and a prominent stepped and moulded cornice. The front features two drop-front doors, each containing a recessed panel decorated with deep relief-carved scrolling foliate and floral motifs within a moulded frame. Each door is secured at the side by a wooden butterfly-style turn latch and includes a small metal ring pull at the top edge. The doors are mounted on metal hinges at the bottom edge, opening downwards to reveal an interior divided into two open compartments by a central vertical partition. The construction and decorative style are consistent with makers such as Wood Bros (Old Charm) or Jaycee. No maker marks or labels are visible.
