Buyer's Premium:

This collection features antique and vintage domestic metalware and decorative items. The cutlery includes a sterling silver butter knife with a decorative handle and blade. The blade is struck with a full set of Sheffield hallmarks including the crown assay mark, the lion passant for sterling silver, the date letter i for 1901, and the maker’s mark HA for Harry Atkin of Atkin Brothers. Accompanying this is a palette knife or spatula with a long, rounded steel blade and a wooden handle secured with three brass rivets. The copperware consists of a circular frying pan with a hand-hammered finish and a long hand-wrought metal handle attached by three copper rivets. The interior is tinned. Also included is a deep copper casserole pot with a matching lid, featuring two looped side handles and a curved lid handle. The decorative pieces comprise a pair of miniature Japanese style cloisonne enamel vases. Each vase is decorated with a multi-coloured dragon amongst scrolling clouds on a black ground, finished with gold-tone wire work. Both vases are set upon carved dark wood stands.
