Two British military pattern folding clasp knives, commonly referred to as jack knives, of Sheffield manufacture. The first example is a three-piece pattern featuring a steel clip-point blade, a separate can opener tool, and a folding marlinspike. The tang of the main blade is stamped John Milner Sheffield. It is fitted with chequered synthetic handle scales in an olive-tan colour. The second example is a two-piece military issue pattern, bearing a tool blade stamped with the broad arrow pheon mark, the date 1940, and the maker H.M. Slater. This knife includes a single blade with an integrated screwdriver tip at the point and a folding marlinspike, complete with a metal lanyard ring at the base. The handle is constructed with black cross-hatched synthetic scales.
