The scene depicts a First World War aerial dogfight between a British Airco D.H.2 pusher biplane and a German Fokker Eindecker monoplane. The artwork is signed Michael Turner in the plate at the lower right corner of the image and bears the printed title D.H.2 versus FOKKER in the lower margin. The print is presented with a dark green mat within a silver-toned metallic frame. No edition number or publisher’s marks are visible.
