A comprehensive collection of 20th-century and contemporary cloth insignia, professionally housed within a ring binder containing clear display sleeves. The collection encompasses a wide variety of service branches and units, including the British Army, Royal Air Force (RAF), and the Ministry of Defence Guard Service (MGS). Key contents include historical formation signs such as the 11th Armoured Division featuring a black charging bull on a red field, General Headquarters (GHQ) Middle East / British Troops in Egypt with crossed swords and crown, and the 52nd (Lowland) Infantry Division depicting a lion rampant on a blue saltire. Other notable unit insignia include the 15th Infantry Brigade coiled snake and City of Edinburgh emblems showing a lion on a red castle.

The collection also features specialist and service patches, including two large embroidered breast or shoulder patches for the Ministry of Defence Guard Service and a commemorative circular patch for Exercise Distant Frontier 92 at Eielson AFB, Alaska, relating to RAF joint operations.
