A group of fourteen British Second World War campaign medals and stars, all housed in individual plastic protective sleeves. The collection includes three War Medals (1939–1945) struck in cupro-nickel, featuring the crowned effigy of King George VI on the obverse with the legend GEORGIVS VI D: G: BR: OMN: REX ET INDIAE IMP: and a lion standing over a fallen dragon on the reverse. There are three cupro-nickel Defence Medals, depicting the bareheaded profile of King George VI on the obverse and two lions flanking an oak tree beneath a crown on the reverse. The assortment of stars comprises two 1939–1945 Stars, two Africa Stars, two Italy Stars, one Burma Star, and one Pacific Star. Each of these six-pointed bronze stars bears the royal cipher GRI VI surmounted by a crown at the centre, with the name of the specific campaign award embossed in a circular band below. All awards are accompanied by their respective silk ribbons. No naming is visible on the rims or reverses.
