A British military-issue general-purpose utility knife, manufactured by the historic Sheffield firm Joseph Rodgers. The knife features a fixed, single-edged drop-point steel blade of full tang construction. The handle consists of two dark wood scales secured to the tang by two brass rivets. The blade is clearly stamped on the left side with the maker name JOSEPH RODGERS, the NATO Stock Number 5110-99-437-5839, the date 1987, and the official Ministry of Defence Broad Arrow property mark. The knife is accompanied by a contemporary brown leather sheath featuring decorative embossed basketweave tooling, white edge stitching, and an integrated belt loop.
