This lot comprises a trio of contemporary laser-cut sheet steel silhouettes, designed for commemorative use. Each piece depicts a British Great War soldier, or Tommy, in the ceremonial funeral pose of Rest on Your Arms Reversed. The figures are shown wearing Brodie pattern helmets and greatcoats, holding a Short Magazine Lee-Enfield (SMLE) rifle with the muzzle pointed towards the ground. Adjacent to each soldier is a silhouette of a temporary wooden battlefield cross, also topped with a Brodie helmet. The items are finished in a textured black powder coating and feature an integrated L-shaped base plate with two pre-drilled mounting holes for fixing to a fence, wall, or post.
