The group consists of sets titled The Coinage of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, issued in original presentation folders. The visible dates include 1977, 1979, 1980, and 1981. The 1977 set, in a blue folder, commemorates the Silver Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and includes a specially struck crown piece. Other folders are coloured light blue (1979), purple (1980), and dark brown (1981) with block lettering. An additional set is present in a cream-coloured textured folder featuring circular gold-coloured script. These sets contain the circulating denominations for their respective years, struck to proof quality by the Royal Mint and sealed in original protective packaging.
