A set of six Elizabeth II fruit knives produced to commemorate the bicentenary of the Sheffield Assay Office (1773-1973). Sold by Harrods, each knife is constructed with a solid sterling silver blade and a carved, polished mother-of-pearl handle. The blades are hallmarked Roberts & Belk Ltd, 1973 The set is housed in its original navy-blue presentation case, the lid featuring a gilt-stamped crest for the Sheffield Assay Office.
