An assortment of decorative glass objects featuring a range of mid-century and contemporary styles. The collection includes a dark amethyst-coloured glass bottle-shaped vase with a wide, flat flange rim and an applied circular glass seal on the body with a moulded sunflower motif. This piece is characteristic of mid-20th-century British glass manufacturers such as Nazeing or Dartington. Also included is a translucent teal green glass jug with a tapered body, pinched pouring spout, and an applied handle, designed in a mid-century modern style. The group is further comprised of a tall cylindrical smoked glass vase embellished with alternating horizontal bands of white and gold-toned gilding, a flared yellow glass vase with a frosted satin finish and a sepia-toned graphic of a bird of paradise, and a contemporary heavy-based rectangular vase in transparent blue glass. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on any of the items.
